Working Girl!

Not to much new or exicting stuff going on in the life of me. The new apartment is awesome, there is still a lot to be done (as in stuff to buy) but it's coming along. I took a week off of doing anything because moving all our crap in was hard work and I wanted to enjoy just having a new place instaead of having to worry about decorating it. We have had a fwe of our friends over to watch TV and chill, but no party yet. Tonight I'm actually cooking dinner. Sarah is going to come over and us girls are going to cook our guys an amazing meal. (I promised Sarah I would help, but our kitchen is so small!)

In other news, my boss decided to hire me as a bartender for his annaul Cinco De Mayo party. My boss Kelley told me that he invited about 100 people (ALL INDIANS) to the party. He asked if I had a girlfriend who could help me out, because trying to tend to 100 peeps by yourself is HARD, so I decided to ask Maddi to help me out. She's really the only one of my friends who has worked in a bar. So we will be "the help" at my boss' party. Not only will we not be able to understand anything of what these people will be asking for, but we will also be eating from the Vegeterian Mexican food buffet. Why even have Mexican food if you can't have any meat? I think my boss totally sounded like a moron when calling around to catering companies. Oh well, I think the money will be good. On top of tips he will be paying me for a full day of office pay, so that will be nice, espically since it comes right after rent is due.

MY 1ST PLACE!!!

Yay! I'm sooooo stoked. Yesterday, Daniel and I moved into our 1st place! Well, actually MY first place. My name is on everything, just in case anything happens between him and I, he gets the boot, I get to stay! Yesterday was move-in day. It really sucked. I'm soooo happy I don't have to move for another 13 months. And after that. i'm hiring professional movers. Moving just really isn't my thing.

I have been overwhelemed with decorating ideas. There is so many things I want to do with that little place, and not much room to do it in. Grrrr... I've already got my 1st apartment check lists (for everything needed from cleaning supplies to decorative accessories) printed and ready for checking!

So, if you need me within the next 2 weeks or so, just go to "The Maze You Can't Impulse Buy In" (aka Ikea) and I'm sure you'll find me there. I'll be the one running around that place frantic as hell, like a chicken with my head coming off.

I want to take some time to thank Nate & Anne, Paul, Sean Fergason, Daneil, and myself for getting our butts moved in on time. THANK YOU!!

Also, I will be accepting Housewarming gifts (lol). Gift Cards to Ikea, Target, Wal-Mart, Annas Linens, and other home supply stores would be great ;)

P.S. Did you guys see Boys 2 Men on Dancing with the Stars last night? The show gave them like 3 minutes! WTF??? HATERS!!!

Sorry about the delay...

Hey Ya'll! Sorry, it's been a bit since I have put up a new post...so I'm making my brother Ben happy by putting up a new one!

Fun stuff going on... My sister and I will be jamming out to one of our all-time favorite groups, Boys 2 Men, at the WIld Horse Pass casino next Friday night. We're super stoked, we saw them @ America West Arena when I was in 3rd grade, so when I heard on the radio that they will be playing at the casino I just KNEW we had to go.

Daniel and I will be moving into an apartment on the 1st... I will disclose the location once we get all set up and moved in and decorated, then I will have people over to view my beautiful apartment creation, and to meet Dan, I know everyone is dying to meet the mystery man.

I'm getting my hair cut and colored tomorrow with Sylvia! YAY!! I'm not to sure what I'm doing with it yet, but she ALWAYS does great work, so be ready fo feed me compliments on my new hair. I thought about chopping it all off for summer, but then decided aganist it cause the last time I did that, I absolutely regreded it.

Work is going good, as most of you know I was along in the office most of the week. It was kinda tough the 1st day, running this place all by myself, but by day 2 I was watching the final episodes of the Bachealor that I missed. That Jason is a total duche for letting Melissa go (hot cowboys cheerleader!) for that not as cute Molly girl with the freaky looking face. But Melissa is now on Dancing with the Stars 9on of my favs) along with Holly Madison (Hugh Heffnor's ex) who is also one of my favorite celebs. Watch "dancing" its sooooo good!

Tonight my friend Mirza is having a BBQ, then everyone is going out. I think I'll pass on the going out part, considering my hair appointment is @ 8am!!!! wtf!! Why so early Sylvia?? lol. Well, acutally I "thought" my appointment was LAST Saturday, but after waiting outside of her studio until 8:10, then looking at my calendar on my phone and realizing it was THIS weekend, I think I better be awake and ontime to my appointment.

That Girl

Moving Time!

So, change in plans. Daniel and I were supposed to be going up to Cottonwood this weekend with a big group of friends, but I'm "taking a break" from hanging out with the girls until they get back. We need to find a new house this weekend (the lease is up) so Daniel and I will be heading over to his mom's friend rental finding business to look for a place. I'm pretty excited to finally have a place of my own. I have soooo many ideas for decorating, I'm not sure what direction I'm going to go with yet, but it's goign to be soooooo cute!

So that's what our weekend will consist of. looking for a new place. It has to be done ASAP so not going to Cottonwood with everyone is a drag, but house finding cannot be put off any longer.

I want to wish my sister Anne, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Her big day is tomorrow, so tonight at Grammie's dinner we will be celebrating that, then heading to my Dad's for cake and presents. My uncle Scott is in town from Alaska, visiting and staying with Grams for about a month. It makes me feel good about Grammie having someone there to help out with stuff around the house and to keep her company! Thanks Scott!

Things at work are good, boring sometimes as usual, but hey, I'm real lucky to even have a job right now. I hope everyone has a great and safe weekend!

Yummy!

Hey blog readers! It's Wednesday, Humpday!! Yay! Half way through another week. The office has been quiet this week. Monday I still had to come into the office (even though it was a holiday, of course!) but Jay (the bossman I call him) let me leave at four. Which was nice, but everyone else left at 2. That's okay though, I need the hours!

Yesterday was my other boss Kelley's birthday, so today Jay took us all out to Manuel's for lunch. I had a taco salad. Yummy!! I loooooove the taco shells they serve it you in. I ordered Girl scout cookies like 2 months ago and yesterday they came in. I totally forgot I ordered them! I got Thin Mints (Thanks for always getting them Dad, you really know what's good!). Ever since I can remember my Dad would order that kind, so I'm continuing the family tradition. I didn't really dig into them yet though, cause as us Kamper's know, they are best frozen. That will be my dinner tonight, 2 boxes of frozen thin mints. Yum Yum!

Next weekend (the weekend of the 27th) a big group of friends and I are going up to Cottonwood to Sarah's HUGE house. We're all excited to finally get away together as a group and party it up in her "mansion" we call it. We ALWAYS have a good time, and someone always makes an ass out of themselves. Last time it was me, I got into a fight with Stewart (who's like 3 times bigger than me) and he threw me off him (cause I was trying to take him down) and he tossed me off of him, and straight into the fridge. I had a slight shiner for a few days. But this time, I'm plotting Ashtyn's demise because she STILL gives me crap about our last trip. I'll let you know how it goes!

Feelin' Icky

Today is Monday, and I think I'm getting sick :( My chest is tight, body achy, and I'm tired. The boss left today cause he was sick, and our admin. assistant is out today too. As soon as I got in the office I pumped myself with 3 Vitiman C tablets and some water, so hopefully I did that in time to shoo the sickness away.

How can one get sick if she didn't leave the house all weekend? I was sooooo lazy this weekend, the only reason I left the house was last night, to grab a bite to eat at Denny's. Yummy! I had breakfast for dinner ( I made my own Slam). Eggs, toast, hash browns, and bacon were my picks. It sure was tasty!

Work is slow and quiet today with Jay (my boss) gone, which makes me happy, cause I'm not feeling well today. Anywho..hope everyone had a grrrrreat weekend! xoxoxox

I-Pods

They really are the best invention ever! I mean, come on, what other gaget can you jam out to your favorite tunes, watch T.V. shows, listen you your older brother talk about your favoirte football, watch music videos, and get carpultunnel in your hand while watching these things, all at the same time?

The only complaint I have is that they don't give you a little stand or anything to put your ipod on so your dont have to hold the freakin thing while your trying to watch a show. Ugh, so annoying. But, the clairty of the shows on this awesome little green i-pod nano i have, is freakin awesome. It's like I'm watching HD.

Oh ya, speaking of HD, did everyone hear that they are putting of switching every channel from analog to digital? My friends and i were talking last night, and someone told me that they are all sold out of the converter boxes for older tv's. I guess they are putting it off for a few months so they can get some more boxes manufactured. When the switch happens, apparently over 1 million people will be without t.v. Well....that's jsut what I was told.
